Woke up this morning feeling a little under the weather. Packing up your whole apartment, moving 2000+miles, plus a few all nighters, turns out can still do that. Nonetheless, totally cathartic – you wouldn’t believe how stuff accumulates over 15 years in one place. The nomadic life, a dream of mine since the Apple days, finally a reality.
Upside, it was my first tropical Christmas. Everybody here participated in the celebrations.
There was also surfing – without a wet suit. My first time at the local break, I was pleased to catch a wave within the first 5 minutes. Only to realize, going left leaves you stranded on a volcanic reef. Ouch. I’m still alive – and know to paddle right, from here on out.
Happy Holidays!
Congrats on the big move and new life, Kimon. You deserve it (and I sooooo respect that you are doing it!!)
Your travels helped plant the seed. Thailand, and S. America for that matter, on the list. Expect to be hearing more from me 🙂
Just say the word and I’ll meet up with you somewhere new.
Happy Holidays!
